Background
Galderma’s Cetaphil® skincare products have been a favorite of dermatologists and people with sensitive skin for years. Among those who use Cetaphil®, the cleansing products and moisturizers are highly regarded for their efficacy, gentleness and affordable price point. In fact, Cetaphil® users are almost evangelical in their loyalty to the product line, and dermatologists recommend Cetaphil® to their patients with regularity.
Four years ago, Integrative Logic was retained by Galderma to design and develop a
strategic marketing program that introduced the Cetaphil® line to new consumers and
nurtured the company’s relationship with its existing customer base. Using business
intelligence expertise, Integrative Logic leveraged information from the Cetaphil®
customer database and designed a complete strategic marketing program focused on the
consumer.
The “Skin Care Club” was launched as an online program consisting of personalized
monthly emails supported by a dynamic website. Demographic, psychographic and
transactional data determine the content of newsletters, direct mail and retail focus
promotional emails. From the database segmentation to the online program, to the
content and design of communications, Integrative Logic yielded more than 200,000 club
members and generated a 15 percent response rate within the first two years.
